Going out tonight so I spent a good 10 mins blow drying my hair LOL totally against the theme of the 5m challenge but it felt better than clenaing the sink!!!!

Cleaned the mirror in Billy's bathroom.

Wiped the fridge out with vanilla - it was smelling a bit off

Super keen today - actually did this before I came to work - of course incentive was that my parents are arriving today! Anyway I swept the floors for bits/dust in teh family room, lounge and dining room

sorted through danyals new school uniform so that i had all items that need named in one pile out of the wrappers

Cleaned up several hotspots today - hallway, kitchen table, kitchen bench, put ironing away.

Decluttered a couple of kitchen cupboards - have listed the stuff on freecycle. It will go to the opshop if it doesn't get taken.

Tidied the tupperware cupboard - I followed your lead of storing them with the lids. I didn't think it would all fit in but it did and should save so much time!

Also put some of Billy's toys in his new cupboard. I've decluttered some toys if I can get them out without him noticing!

Replaced filter cartridge in water filter & cleaned it out.

Lodged & paid BAS (quarterly sales tax statement)

Quick one tonight (I did do the ironing tonight after all!). I dusted the loungeroom & hallway.

Cleared off the top of the ensuite vanity.

Cleared off bedside table & dusted.

Dusted prints in the hallway.

Finally unpacked & put away the suitcase from the weekend.

Wiped down the walls near the stairs into the kitchen - little hands use it to balance and it gets very grotty!

Today I washed the sheets from the guest room after we had people stay over on Friday night. The best thing is though - I've even remade the bed lol!

I spent 5 mins pulling up the weeds on the front drive - they have gone crazy since our hols and cleared our patio flower tubs (all died as we werent here to water last week - they were on their last legs anyway so it was fine)

I had to make the house ready for guests who are staying over so general tidy up, sweeping, vacuuming etc.  No extra task though L

Tidied up toys etc in spare room, made spare bed.

 

Threw out some of the old yoghurt container lids under the sink - not sure why we had about 20 lids and 1 container :)

Cleaned out the dishwasher filters - ewwww they were yucky!  And ran the dishwasher through a rinse cycle with vinegar to clean it.

 

Moved the lounge in the kitchen out from the wall and swept under it. 

 

Found out this morning that not-so-DH has invited people to stay on Friday night, so I'll have a focus for the next couple of days..

Well one of us will continue working while the other one is enjoying themselves on holidays :)

Cleaned the microwave - washed plate, wiped over inside & outside.

Also cleaned around the drain and taps on the bathroom vanity.

Cleaned off top & fridge and threw several months worth of weekly's newspapers in the recycle bin!

Also vacuumed and Billy cleaned the mirrors on the hallstand - sort of :)

Tidied away the toys left over from the weekend (oops!!) and got all of Danyals clothes out for his trip (if that counts!!!)

Swept the pool room. I don't usually venture in there much but the cat likes to go in there & shed!!

Cleaned the shower. Gave it a good clean with a disgusting mix of kero, metho, ammonia & water - I may not have any lungs left but I think the shower is clean! I think I'll just try the kero & metho combination next time and see how it goes.

well which thing did I do tonight that counts as my 5mer?? I have collected Danyal, made his tea and bathed him as he was filthy! wrapped presents for Laure and the gang, 'made' something for hannah (more in an email) I have done my hair, cleaned the bathroom sink, cleaned up cat sick, done the dishes and checked the bank balances and paid a bill - all in 29 degree heat in most rooms - 32 in the kitchen

really thought i didnt actually think about which one was my 5m task so i am not sure any of them qualify!

Decobwebbed and dusted loungeroom. It will take away my entertainment of watching the cobwebs blow gently in the breeze of the heater though :)

Anyway you better be proud of me for this one - hoovered the kitchen in detail - down side of aga behind cat litter bins and the cat beds - its 28 degrees outside and nearly 31 in the kitchen!

nearly forgot! but i have just stacked away all of the books I have yet to list on ebay - they were just in the middle of the family room but i cant see myself selling them this month so packed away neatly in the corner unit
