Kez - 30 Sep

Big spring cleaning day today - stripped all the beds, washed the sheets, pillowcases, doona covers. Hung the doonas (duvets) & underlays out to air, put the pillows out to air - even vacuumed as much as I could under the waterbed bladder! Remade all the beds.

Gave Billy's room a thorough clean - washed the inside of his windows and those in the spare room (will do the outside when Pete is home to help put the screens back on), wiped down the walls where there were grotty patches, thorough vacuum.

Cleaned Billy's toilet (including unscrewing the seat and taking it off!)

I feel like I did more than that, but I can't remember what. Hopefully will get more done tomorrow.

Cleaned the shower & cleaned out the fridge. Have been slack again lately so too much stuff to throw out :(

Cleaned out the 'pantry' I guess is the correct word - tin cupboard to me - sorted through the pastas and tins - just a couple for the bin nothing too drastic and nothing to add to the shopping list which I count as a bonus or a lack of meal planning!!!

Cleaned the ensuite basin, Exit-moulded the shower, ran the kitchen rangehood filter through the dishwasher.

Cleaned the toilet - even down to unscrewing the toilet seat to take it off and clean underneath the back of it. It was sorely needed due to 2 boys in the family :)

Quick mow of the lawn (10 min job) last cut before winter hopefully!

also decobwebbed the ceiling in the lounge and hall - they seemed to have sprung up in teh last week like crazy (I assume its the odd warm weather we are having this time for year - not expecting them to recur judging by the number of massacared spiders found each morning - danyal says the cats have 'stamped' on them!!)

Hmm yes my posting skills have been called into question!! BUT that does not mean I am failing in my missions

Yesterday I cleaned out my tub where i keep the potatoes and onions - got rid of the bits that get left behind and gave it a good wash and clean up

what else so far this week -

went through Danyals winter t-shirts and did a loft cull - ones that wont fit this year into the loft box - now he is in school uniform and only needs t-shirts at the weekend I have at least identified that i dont need to go shopping and made some space in the wardrobe

Finished washing the oven shelves, wiped the oven out, cleaned the microwave.

Washed the kitchen garbage out.

Started cleaning the oven shelves by soaking them in washing powder (read it on the Simple savings site) - it's working really well!!

I am so so bad at filling this in but i swear I aim to do something most days - so far this week I have done a tonnoe of clothes washing (got behind) coped with danyal going to school and most importantly sorted out why our cheque account balance was all wrong (basically i had forgotten to do some transfers for the past 2 months - all sorted now and also tidied up the monthly payemnts schedule by date payemnst go out so i can always keep a check on what is left to clear and what funds are still available to make sure we dont go overdrawn

Spent a fair bit of time cleaning the playroom - you can see the floor now - after 5 bags of rubbish were thrown out!! Still a little bit to do in there.

Lots of tidying today - the big one was cleaning Billy's bedroom! Also cleaned the hallstand (again!) and got the dishes all done.

Tidied away a pile of ironed clothes that have been sitting in my bedroom for about a week.

Nothing last night (23) as I was out for a meal with a friend but i forgot to post that I ironed the name labels on Danyals clothes on tuesday night - took 2 hours!!!! I still have 2 things left to do and then i have to sew on loops for everything that needs hung up - I can see that being a LONG task

Lots of stuff today getting ready for the party. Cleaned the toilets inside, swept the deck & verandah, washed down the chairs and tables etc outside, and generally tidied up.
